JPA SAFETY MEASURES AS OF March 9, 2022

Protocols will be updated as City and County regulations change

 

  • All dancers have the option to take class virtually or at the dance studio.

  • The wearing of masks is optional.

  • The number of participants in a class is limited. 

  • Sanitizer is available for use throughout the dance studios and lobby area. 

  • The whole studio facility is cleaned by our custodian staff. 

  • All staff and participants are not allowed into the facility if they are experiencing symptoms of COVID-19; have a fever of 100 degrees or higher, a frequent cough, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, recent loss of taste or smell, or if they or someone they live with have been diagnosed with COVID-19.

  • All staff and dancers will have their temperature taken prior to going into the studio facility. 

  • All staff has been trained as of July 5, 2020. 

 

JPA PROTOCOLS FOR IN STUDIO CLASSES

Dancers Taking Class at Studio

  1. Dancers MUST arrive 5 minutes before their scheduled dance class dressed in their dance attire. Parents are not allowed inside the studio. Exceptions will be made for our Dancers under 5 years of age.     

  2. Staff will come out of the studio to indicate that dancers can come in the studio.

  3. Dancers will line up outside the door. Parents can walk their dancer to the door and should wait until their dancer’s temperature is taken before leaving.

  4. If a dancer’s temperature is 100 degrees or higher or they are showing symptoms of COVID-19 (a frequent cough, difficulty breathing, chills, muscle pain, headache, sore throat, recent loss of taste or smell) they will not be allowed to enter the facility. 

  5. If a dancer gets sick or we find them showing signs of the symptoms mentioned above, we will be calling parents to come pick them up. Be sure your contact information is correct in your JPA portal. 

  6. The dancer will get their temperature taken and sanitize their hands at the door. 

  7. PARENTS MUST ARRIVE ON TIME TO PICK UP THEIR DANCER. All parents will wait outside of the studio, dancers will be sent out of the studio one at a time and will sanitize their hands on the way out. 

 

Reminders

  • MASKING IS STRONGLY RECOMMENDED BUT NO LONGER REQUIRED FOR THOSE ENTERING THE DANCE STUDIO. 

  • Students are encouraged to bring  a water bottle as our drinking fountain will be closed but our water bottle fill up station will be made available. 

  • Dancers MUST arrive dressed for dance class and a cover up may be worn.

  • Dancers should use the bathroom prior to coming to the studio facility. Bathrooms will be made available at the studio if needed.

  • NO FOOD IS ALLOWED TO BE BROUGHT INTO THE STUDIO FACILITY.
